Code of Conduct
VoicesFor.Earth is all about amplifying young voices from around the globe ahead of the United Nations Climate
Change Conference COP29 in Dubai. Our platform is home to a wide range of perspectives, demands and ideas. To ensure
a safe space, all people participating on the platform are asked to follow these guidelines. Posts that do not
follow these guidelines will not be published and may be subject to removal.
Please note that our platform is run by a team of volunteers, so reviewing statements may take some time. If you
have any questions, suggestions or come across content that does not follow these guidelines, please reach out at
hello@voicesfor.earth.
- Please only use this platform if you’re 16 or older. If you’re younger, please ask a parent or guardian to submit
your statement.
- Make sure all statements you share are based on the best available science and are respectful of our planet and
all species living on it, including humans with different stories than your own.
- Share statements that are relevant to COP29 and international climate change negotiations.
- Do not use statements to advertise commercial products or services.
- Do not share illegal or offensive content. Discriminatory language is not allowed. This includes content that is
sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexually explicit, abusive, contains swearing or is otherwise likely to
cause offence.
- Add new ideas to the platform and your own unique perspective. Do not spam, submit the same text multiple times or
use tools to manipulate this platform.
- Please share your statements in English language. Use spell-checking tools to make sure your statement clearly
conveys what you’d like to say.
